The Discovery to Delivery Conference, hosted by the Academic Libraries of Indiana and the Indiana State Library, is a free one-day resource sharing conference that is open to all Indiana libraries. Plans are under way to bring the resource sharing community back together in-person this fall.

SAVE THE DATE

The conference is scheduled for Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Indiana State Library located at 315 W. Ohio Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. We may be able to offer a virtual option for some sessions, and more details will be announced as the agenda is developed. Registration will open later this summer.

CALL FOR PRESENTERS/PANELISTS

Submission Deadline: Friday, June 24, 4PM Eastern.

If you are interested in developing and sharing a presentation, please complete and submit the proposal form. The best-received presentations are often from peer libraries, and you are strongly encouraged to share your own successes and challenges with your colleagues.

If you’re hesitant to lead a session by yourself, but would be willing to share your experiences in a panel, there is a place on the form to note that as well. If we have enough submissions, the committee may be able to coordinate a panel.

The agenda is flexible, and open to sessions in a variety of lengths and formats, including:

  • Traditional conference sessions of approximately 30-35 minutes in length, plus 10 minutes for Q&A
  • Lightning talks of 7-10 minutes
  • Panel sessions

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborations and Partnerships
  • Controlled Digital Lending
  • Copyright
  • Customer Service
  • E-books and ILL
  • E-Resources Licensing
  • Marketing ILL services
  • Next generation ILL
  • Open Access
  • Patron-Driven Services
  • Show and Tell – show off your workspaces and workflows
  • Statistics, particularly effects of Covid on benchmarks

The conference is open to all Indiana libraries, and the audience will include attendees from academic, public, and special libraries. Please indicate in your program description whether your presentation targets a specific or general audience.
