What We Do

Our Charge:

  • Identify and analyze resource sharing models, innovations, trends, and strategies
  • Recommend policies and promote best practices that expand the resource sharing capacity of ALI libraries;
  • Maintain deep collaboration with the Indiana State Library in the organization of a statewide resource-sharing conference
  • Participate in the evaluation of systems and technologies to facilitate discovery and remote circulation of materials (approved 11/14/2014)

Save the date and call for proposals for Discovery to Delivery (D2D) 2024

October 11, 2024:  Discovery to Delivery: Indiana Libraries Resource Sharing Conference.

The Discovery to Delivery (D2D) Conference, hosted by the Academic Libraries of Indiana and the Indiana State Library, is a free one-day resource sharing conference that is open to all Indiana libraries- public, academic, school, special, institutional, and more. This year will be a hybrid conference featuring on-site and Zoom options! 

The conference will be held at Ivy Tech Community College, Bloomington: 200 Daniels Way, Bloomington, IN 47404 from 9:00 AM – 3:30PM.

The planning committee is soliciting presentation proposals for Discovery to Delivery 2024. If you are interested in developing and sharing a presentation, please fill out the form here.

Submission Deadline: 4 PM (EST) 15 July 2024

Presentations should be approximately 30-35 minutes in length with an additional 10 minutes at the end of each session for questions and discussion. The conference is open to all Indiana libraries, and the audience will include attendees from academic, public, and special libraries.
